4 dead in P’sinan mishaps
URDANETA CITY, Philippines – Four persons died in separate vehicular accidents in Pangasinan over the weekend.
Wendel James Sison, 16; John Paul Rimas, 17, and Ian Angelo Bagnas, 17, were declared dead on arrival at the Urdaneta District Hospital. Their companions, Joel Apongol, survived and was taken to the same hospital for treatment.
Reports said Sison and his companion were on a motorcycle when they hit a similar vehicle along the Manila North Road in Barangay Nacayasan in this city.
After the victims were thrown from the motorcycle, an Isuzu truck driven by Edson Piano, 55, ran over Sison, Rimas and Bagnas.
Piano surrendered to the police.
Meanwhile, in nearby San Fabian town, Arman Canlas, 26, died while his passenger, Dan Franklin Ferrer, 21, was injured after their motorcycle collided with a truck in Barangay Bolasi.
Investigation showed the truck, driven by Jonathan Maun, 29, swerved.
Canlas died while being treated at the La Union Medical Center.
