Binay, Roxas, Santiago cast votes
MANILA, Philippines — Most of the presidential aspirants cast their votes in their respective polling precincts on Monday morning in the first few hours of voting.
Vice President Jejomar Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance was the first presidential bet to cast his vote. He voted past 6 a.m. at San Antonio National High School in Makati City.
The vice president and his son, dismissed Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin "Junjun" Binay Jr., were among the first to vote at their precincts. Binay Jr. told members of the press that he is confident of his father's victory.

Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, along with her husband Narciso, also voted at the La Vista Clubhouse in Quezon City. Liberal Party standard-bearer Manuel "Mar" Roxas II ate breakfast with his family before casting his vote at Rufina A. Santos Memorial School in Roxas City, Capiz.

Sen. Grace Poe has yet to vote but her husband Neil Llamanzares and her son Brian Poe Llamanzares have already voted at Xavier School in San Juan City. The senator is set to visit the tomb of her late father Fernando Poe Jr., at the Manila North Cemetery before heading to her polling precinct.

On the other hand, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is expected to vote at Daniel Aguinaldo High School in Davao City between 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. — with reports from Helen Flores, Paolo Romero and Bilang Pilipino
