Sidewalks are shrinking again

SIDEWALK HOGS. Concerned citizens are asking if the sidewalk ordinance is still in force in Cebu City considering vendors, especially in Colon Street, now seem to be hogging the sidewalk with their wares, tables, and carts.

“Naa man ta to specifications sa mga karomata sa una, karon mora’g wa naman. Mga dagko na kaayo,” one pedestrian said.

The congestion in the sidewalk often forces pedestrian to walk in the street instead, which presents a different set of problems.
