STOCKS. Did you know that many general merchandize stores in many areas in Mindanao purchase from Cebu goods to replenish their stocks? An Ear source said these stores regularly send purchasing people to Cebu to buy their replenishment stocks, mainly dry goods and packaged foodstuffs.

BARGAIN. When they hear or read about bargain sales in Cebu’s shopping malls, general merchandize store owners in Mindanao towns pratically rush to Cebu to avail themselves of the bargain prices. This according to the owner of three commissary stores in as many smaller towns in Misamis Oriental.
