Crucifixion for show?

FOR SHOW. Persons who have themselves nailed to the cross on Good Friday -- at least some of them -- are doing the "sacrifice" just for show, according to an Ear informer who witnessed a crucifixion outside of Cebu City. He said the man who was known to his group as the "penitent" did not let the crucifixion proceed before the arrival of a group of photographers.

WHY? The Ear informer said if it was not only for show, why did the so-called "penitent" have to wait for the photographers? Anyway, the crucifixion proceeded, the informer said.
