Barangay tanod

TANOD.  A resident of the city's north district would like to know if a barangay tanod not anymore connected with his home barangay could serve as tanod in an adjoining barangay. "Ask lang ko kay nahibung mi nga nahimo man ang usa ka dismissed tanod pagpadayon sa iyang pagkatanod ubos sa laing barangay?"

POLICE.  Another reader called up to ask if it is allowed for barangay tanods to wear black t-shirt with the big words POLICE back and front. "Isn't there a law that bans tanods from identifying themselves as regular members of the POLICE force?" asked this reader.
