The last quarter of 2005 sees ABS-CBN Star Magic artists getting busier than ever. The artists are everywhere – movies, TV, theater and commercial endorsements.
Piolo Pascual is back with his hectic grind as he tapes for a teleserye with Judy Ann Santos in addition to Bora and ASAP 05. Piolo will also shoot two movies under Star Cinema, one with Judy Ann Santos and another with Regine Velasquez. He is also scheduled to leave for the US with the Hunks for a concert tour end of October.
Diether Ocampo of Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin and Bora has a new commercial endorsement with ARTECH Appliances.
Carlos Agassi, regular of Bora and ASAP Mania, will come out with his new MTV and album soon.
Like Carlos, Bernard Palanca is part of Bora and ASAP Mania. He is also the image model of Oxygen and will be in the cast of Sukob, a Star Cinema movie.
Jericho Rosales is almost always away from Manila because of his taping for Panday. Jericho prepares for a new campaign for 555 Tuna.
Being the leading lady in Panday, Heart Evangelista is missed in ASAP Fanatic. She recently starred in a Maalaala Mo Kaya special with Geoff Eigenmann shot in San Francisco. Heart is one of Star Magic’s top commercial endorsers with Palmolive Naturals Soap, Creamsilk Conditioners, Tropicana Twister, Smart, ABE School, Ink For Less, Just G and MKNY Shoes. She just finished hosting Closeup To Fame.
Vanessa Gomez and Dimples Romana are also in the cast of Panday playing a diwata and a forest witch, respectively.
Julio Pacheco plays Jericho’s young sidekick.
Claudine Barretto still headlines Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin with Angelika dela Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao and Kathleen Hermosa. Claudine is also planning a most important day in her life – her wedding next year.
Shaina also co-hosts ASAP Fanatic and is one of the faces of Her Bench, Creamsilk Conditioners, Lactacyd and Cose.
Watch out for John Lloyd Cruz and Maja Salvador as they will be launched as the latest Bobson Clothing Apparel endorsers. Aside from Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, John Lloyd will fly to different countries to attend the premieres and international screenings of Dubai. Maja is a regular of ASAP Fanatic and will soon be seen in a soap opera and a Star Cinema movie.
Maoui David, fresh from the success of Footloose, will promote her album entitled Singles with Karel, Aliya and Marinel from Star Records.
Roden Araneta hosts The Practical Cook in Channel 5 with Nancy Lumen Reyes (every Sunday at 9 a.m.) and is a workshop teacher for musical theater.
Gabb Drilon leaves for Hong Kong for an event in Charter Park Central on Oct. 2 entitled Tribute to OFW which is being endorsed by OWWA and POEA.
Tanya Scaife, a Fashion Design student, is also a stylist and writer for Meg magazine.

Marvin Agustin will start shooting Canary Films’ Kutob with Rica Peralejo and Ryan Agoncillo. Marvin plays a guy obsessed with Rica.
Patrick Garcia was recently launched as part of the Closeup Flavalicious campaign. He is also busy with Kampanerang Kuba.
Chokoleit is also in the said series and co-hosts the Wannabuzz segment with AJ Dee and Anne Curtis. He plays Ursula in Bora and still does stand-up comedy in Laffline and Punchline.
Jill Yulo will launch her new Lewis and Pearl TV commercial. Jill will be in ABS-CBN Davao and Cebu in October.
The ANIME, composed of John Wayne Sace, Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Mico Aytona, Mhyco Aquino, Sergio Garcia and Emman Abeleda, will receive its fourth Top Entertainer Award for The Best Young Male Dance Group from the People’s Choice Awards and National Consumers Foundation. The group will also be part of the opening numbers for this year’s Star Olympics.
Juddha Paolo is the host of Hewlett and Packard for all its corporate shows. Juddha oversees his fast-growing Hottah Bibingka business which now has six branches.
Bora is still in full swing with Assunta de Rossi, Pia Romero, Gerard Acao, Bentong and the Bora Girls Jamee Joaquin, Joyce So and Mickey Joy Hyatt.
Vietnam Rose also has a number of Star Magic artists like Angelica Panganiban, Jason Abalos, Michelle Madrigal, Joseph Bitangcol, AJ Dee, Christopher Peralta and Baron Geisler.
Gulong ng Palad marks the comeback of Kristine Hermosa to drama. Kristine is also set to shoot part 2 of Enteng Kabisote for the MMFF ’05. Endorsements-wise, she is still doing Talk n’ Text, Family’s Brand Sardines and Head & Shoulders. She will soon be the Sara Lee Cosmetics Colour Collection woman.
Mhyco Aquino, other half of the "Mhyzel" loveteam from Qpids, will also be part of Gulong Ng Palad, with Hazel Ann Mendoza, Denise Joaquin and Nash Aguas who will play Peping.
Candy Mag is drafting votes for the Candy Cutie so do vote for the Roco Twins, Felix and Dominic.
Something to watch out for is the comeback of Sandara Park. Exciting projects are lined up for her. Sandara will be formally welcomed in ASAP Fanatic.

Cherrylou is set to do shows in Bahrain and Dubai starting tomorrow until Oct. 3. She is also part of the Piolo Pascual-Judy Ann show, playing Rica Peralejo’s best friend. Fresh from a series of shows in the US, John "Sweet" Lapus will have a month-long show in Zirkoh in November with Jon Santos, produced by Pops Fernandez. Like Dominic Ochoa, Sweet is busy hosting corporate shows.
Ketchup Eusebio with the kiddies, Erich Gonzales, Angelo Ilagan and Jiro Manio are cast in Mga Angel Na Walang Langit. Ketchup will tour with the cast of the musical Saranggola ni Pepe where he plays 11-year-old Pepe.
