American has taste for Filipino politics

He loves pinoy politics. An American recently told the Ear that he has come to love the liveliness of Filipino politics. "There is just so much going in! Especially with your new president, there are issues left and right. Even the old issues when he was still mayor are being brought to light," he said. The American, who is married to a Filipina and is familiar with many local political issues because of his frequent trips between the U.S. and the Philippines, said although he has observed that every election people elect the same people, the political intrigue and squabbles that follow after every election are always unique.

Getting exciting. However, the American said the politics in the U.S. is also about to get more exciting with the controversial policies President Donald Trump is making. "I admit, I haven't paid this much attention to U.S. politics for years. I'm not saying Trump is a good president. He is making things more interesting," the American told the Ear.
