‘The Voice Kids’ semi-finalists woo public for votes

CEBU, Philippines - The live grand vocal showdown in “The Voice Kids” Season 3  began yesterday as the top 9 young artists fought for their dreams and faced the public’s verdict in the Live Semi-Finals that will continue tonight.

Don’t miss the exciting clash of young voices as the Top 3 artists of coaches Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sharon Cuneta battle it out for three spots to represent their respective teams in the most awaited Grand Finals and be hailed as the newest “The Voice Kids” grand champion.

Watch out for FamiLea, with three-chair turner Yessha Dela Calzada, who will try to make her dream of becoming a Broadway singer come true. Joshua Oliveros is also motivated to take home the title in hopes of bringing his family back together. Completing the young artists of Team Lea is Angel Peñaflor, who is set to amaze viewers not only with her knowledge in astronomy but also with her singing.

Kamp Kawayan also has the chance of having another “The Voice Kids” champ with the returning artist and three-chair turner Justin Alva delivering another heartfelt performance. Heart Salvador is also ready to battle with her late sister as her inspiration. Another three-chair turner Xylein Herrera will continue to make her hometown Boracay proud with her unique voice and stage presence.

Viewers are also in for huge surprises with Team Sharon’s explosive performances. Online sensation and three-chair turner Antonetthe Tismo is set to inspire more fans not only with her story but also with her angelic voice. Another three-chair turner, Alvin Dahan’s impressive high notes and dedication to give his family a better life can be the perfect ingredient to woo votes from the public. JC Tan is also someone to watch out for after he surprised everyone with his powerful performance during the Sing-Offs round.
