Eva Longoria weds media mogul

CEBU, Philippines - Eva Longoria and José Antonio Bastón just tied the knot in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, a lakeside town roughly 88 miles from Mexico City.

In photos posted by Al Rojo Vivo, a Telemundo news program, Longoria and Baston can be seen exchanging their vows in front of a giant white cross overlooking the lake. Longoria wore a strapless white gown with a long white veil.

Ahead of the ceremony, a source told People magazine that the star-studded guest list was expected to include David and Victoria Beckham, Penélope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Katy Perry, Mario Lopez, “Prison Break” alum Amaury Nolasco and Jaime Camil of “Jane the Virgin.”

The “Desperate Housewives” actress, 41, and her new husband, 47, first stepped out as a couple in November 2013. Bastón, president of Latin American media brand Televisa, proposed during a vacation in Dubai in December.

Longoria previously gushed to People about Bastón.“He was the most handsome man I’d ever seen. He was so charismatic, charming, sweet and funny. I thought, ‘Who is this guy?!’” she said.

This is the third marriage for Longoria, who was previously married to actor Tyler Christopher and NBA star Tony Parker.

“He’s amazing, he’s gorgeous and really the kindest human being I’ve ever met. He’s really private, so I never talk about him,” added Longoria of her beau whom she lovingly refers to as Pepe.

She further shared how being single after her second divorce for a lengthy period of time helped to prepare her for finding her third husband.

“I learned to be content on my end. I think I needed that to be ready for what I have with Pepe,” says Longoria. (FREEMAN)
