Tech blogger credits success to integrity

CEBU, Philippines - Widening the scope of product reviews and customer feedbacks, a venue for end users to get more up close to a certain product is reading the thoughts of everyday consumer experiences through blogs - it's actual, personal and noncommercial.

With his straight-to-the-point tech reviews, 19-year-old Ram Mancelita overwhelms end users to frequent his blog for credible product and service reviews, which gained him the award as one of the top performing technology blogs in the city and has been considered as one of the premier tech blogs in the Philippines.

Blogging has become Ram's passion and an outlet of self-expression. It has become his way of entertaining, informing and inspiring his readers; yet starting out, he never expected that blogging will transform him into a credible tech reviewer that he is now.

"I was never the rich techie kid who is capable of buying my own gadgets. Before, I used to just ask my friends who own popular mobile phones to lend me their devices for me to do a quick review," Ram narrates.

"But now, a couple of companies are already inviting me to attend product launches and be one of the first to experience their latest products before it comes out the market."

Considering himself as a product reviewer, Ram regards himself to media values of not accepting bribe in exchange of glamorizing product reviews.

"Every gadget has its own flaws and as much as possible, I make sure that each flaw is mentioned, even if the review unit was given by a client," explains Ram with the issue on fairness.

He adds, "I write all my thoughts about the device without censorship. This way, I am making a credible mark in my blog reviews."

Product transparency plays a vital role to ordinary users giving them the value of knowing what works and what does not work, and giving them product knowledge in  just a single click through online blogs.

"Some companies may see it negatively but this is important for me because I believe, every consumer has the right to know the flaws or the things they'd be missing when buying a mobile device. Basically, my goal is to help my readers to know whether or not a gadget is worthy for their hard-earned money."

Ram has since transformed his once blogging hobby into a real business forming an amazing core of competent tech writers to deliver nothing but the best of technology news and gadgets reviews. He has been accepting ad placement to initiate business.
