LIVE: Senate probe into killing of Kian delos Santos

A 17-year-old boy was shot dead by police officers in Caloocan. A Senate panel looks into the brutal incident on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017 at 2 p.m.

The killing of Kian delos Santos, a 17-year-old Grade 11 student, last week has sparked public outrage and condemnation of President Rodrigo Duterte's so-called war on drugs.

On Thursday, the Senate's public order and drugs panel is looking into the boy's death in the hands of police officers. The hearing is set to start at 2 p.m.
