WATCH: INC ex-minister arrested on the way to court
MANILA, Philippines - Expelled Iglesia Ni Cristo minister Lowell Menorca was arrested on Wednesday morning while on his way to attend a hearing at the Court of Appeals.
Menorca earlier filed petitions of writs of habeas corpus and amparo against the religious sect.
In a video released by Menorca's wife, Jinky Menorca, he is being arrested by a civilian who claims to be a police.

The voice of Menorca's wife can be heard demanding the civilian to show the warrant of arrest and his police badge while manhandling the former INC minister.
The INC has denied Menorca's allegations that it is behind its arrest.
