MANILA, Philippines - In line with the World Animal Day, here's a video that will remind you of how good it is to have a pet companion by your side.
Celebrated every October 4, the World Animal Day aims to pay tribute to the animals and people who love and respect them.

In the Philippines, this year's celebration is also in conjunction with the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
To celebrate the day, Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) organized their yearly animal blessing. For this year, the pets and owners gathered together at the Sky Dome in SM North Edsa, Quezon City.
