The stock market is expected to trade sideways while investors await the results of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) monetary board meeting later this week.

Telco-to-tech provider PLDT Inc. is open to the possibility of listing a real estate investment trust in the Philippine Stock Exchange, eyeing to raise fresh capital from its data center business for debt payments.

It is definitely much easier for Philippine Stock Exchange-listed companies to list on the bond exchange, because the internal corporate clean-up and housekeeping that companies undergo before listing on the PSE already suffice as prerequisites to listing on the bond exchange. Similarly, the public disclosures made by PSE-listed entities already satisfy the PDex-imposed requirements before a company can list on the bond exchange.

AyalaLand Logistics teased a Q1 net income of P211 million, up 18% y/y on what ALLHC refers to as a “solid recovery from the downturn experienced in 2023.”

Apex Mining reported a Q1 net income of P853 million, up 55% y/y from its Q1/23 net income of P549 million.
