D’Generals Basketball Season 4 fires off today

CEBU, Philippines — The D’Generals Basketball Club Season 4:“Camaraderie Cup” gets underway today (Sunday, August 2) with an exciting quadruple-header on tap at the Aulga City Sports in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City.

In the 5:30 p.m. opening battle, the Rise Up of Vince Caballero will square off against the Mix Hoopers of Ariel Desierto.

It will be followed by the matchup between the Still&Motion of Cyni Esconde and Gunners of Andrei Reyes at 6:30 p.m.

The Lightsout of Brylle Sanchez will lock horns with the Iron Bulls of Gilbert Ofianga in the third game at 7:30 p.m.

Wrapping up the day’s action is the duel pitting Go Hard of Feljun Cebes against Blitz of Jay-R Caballero at 8:30 p.m.

In all, 10 teams will fight it out for the coveted crown. They are divided into two groups, with the Top 4 in each bracket at the end of the single round robin elimination advancing to the quarterfinals.

The winners will proceed to the semifinals and then to the finals, which are both a winner-take-all affair. — (FREEMAN)
