Poblacion Oriental summer caging fires off Sunday
CEBU, Philippines — It's all systems go for the Poblacion Oriental Summer Basketball Tournament set to take off this Sunday at the Poblacion Oriental covered court in Consolacion.
The categories to be competed are the mini (15 years old and under), midget (21-under), juniors (25-under) and the inter-sitio.
Trophies and cash prizes will be given away to the top performing teams of the two-month tilt that is among the highlights of Poblacion Oriental's annual fiesta in honor of their beloved patron San Roque on May 20.
It is supported by barangay captain Melquiades "Leking" Caylan, sports chairman Eva Malagar and the rest of the barangay council.
Games will be under the supervision of league commissioner Mark Anthony L. Rosal assisted by Joven R. Alivio and Narciso Monterola. (FREEMAN)
