CEBU, Philippines - In a ground-breaking event in Cebu fight scene, Cebuano fight fans will witness for the first time an explosive mixed martial arts action inside the steel cage via the second edition of Cebu Extreme Fight League dubbed as ‘No Way Out’ scheduled tonight at the Cebu Coliseum.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma CEO/Founder and Vis-Min director Master Benigno ‘Ekin’ R. Caniga Jr. said the steel cage has been synonymous with MMA and it gives identity to the combat sport loved by fans all over the world.

“When we say MMA, the first thing that will come out of our minds is the cage. Honestly, getting it is expensive but with the rise of MMA, I felt that we really need to have one here in Cebu,” Master Ekin said. “There’s really no way out for the fighters once they collide inside the cage. I expect a no-holds barred action from the undercards to the main bouts.”

Aside from its added thrill, letting the Cebuano mixed martial artists experience fighting inside the cage will also help them to prepare for bigger tournaments in and outside the country.

“We are way behind when we talk about the sport of MMA here in Cebu. We have the talent but we have lesser events and hopefully, this is the start that our Cebuano fighters will have the much-needed exposure,” added Master Ekin.

Roel ‘Akiyama’ Rosauro of Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu will show his stuff in the main event against the visiting Urtych 'Tank' Alarin of XFC MMA in Butuan.

“There is no belt at stake here, but I am really motivated to win because I am carrying the banner of Cebu and I want to show that we Cebuanos are more skilled warriors,” said the 28-year-old Rosauro.

In the equally-exciting supporting main event, grappler Arnel 'Project X' Ylanan of DEFTAC Vagabond Cebu will try to outmuscle knockout artist Rommel Lugo of Yaw-Yan Olongapo.

In another featured bout, former Philippine Muay Thai team member Nino Rio 'Pitbull' Saoy of Mactan Combat Sports will mix it up with Ivan Victorio also from Yaw-Yan Olongapo.

The other exciting matches pit Dane Dawal vs Frederick Lim Jr., Rufino ‘Noypi’ Mante versus Romel Deita, Peter ‘Sniper’ Sonido versus ‘Mighty’ Kim Vallejos, Mark ‘Fit’ Tapales versus Luther ‘Bang’ Trigo’, Lemuel ‘Musang’ Maglinte versus Rodel ‘Mighty Mouse’ Calbog and Rhyle ‘Bully’ Lugo versusAriane ‘X-Cutter’ Fantilanan.
