CEBU, Philippines -  The prosecutor’s office has recommended no bail against a 73-year-old British national who was accused of raping three girls in Carcar City.

State Prosecutor Richard Abangan Sr. hold the accused, Stanley James “Dan” Lamb, for trial after finding probable cause that he committed the crime.

Lamb, originally from London, allegedly raped two five-year-old and a nine-year-old girls inside the room he rented in the house of one of the victims.

He was arrested by the Carcar City police in his caretaker’s house at Camagayan, Barangay Perrelos, Carcar City around 10 a.m. Monday.

Police Officer 2 Camia Codo of the Women’s and Children’s Protection Desk said Lamb used to live with his Filipina wife in their own house in Carcar City but later lived alone when they got separated.

He rented a room in the house of one of the alleged victims but later transferred to the nearby house of his caretaker.

Codo said that the retired British national could no longer walk properly as he was suffering from a complicated illness.

Codo said the victims could just play in the house and enter Lamb’s room to watch movies as the house does not have a television in the living room.

Inside, he then allegedly touched the children’s private parts.

Codo said one of the five-year-old girls was sexually harassed twice while the other two victims were raped once.

She said the five-year-old victim who was raped twice sought the help of the police Sunday evening but was advised to go back the following day since they would conduct further investigation.

She said the victim was found positively raped during a medical test.

The victim reported that the first time Lamb touched her happened last year and that the last time was on Sunday.

The three victims went together to Carcar City Police Station to report Lamb’s alleged sexual abuses.

When the police arrived at the caretaker’s house, one of the victims pointed to Lamb as the suspect.

Lamb is currently detained at the Carcar City Police Station and will be transferred to the city jail today.

The minors will further undergo psychological and medical examinations.  (FREEMAN)
