CEBU, Philippines - The new Queen City Metropolitan Ballet Theater opens its second season, beginning this month, with two performances of "Highlights" at the Ayala Theater of the Performing Arts, on February 21 at 8:15 p.m. and on February 22 at 3:30 p.m.
"Highlights" is a collection of choice classical dance numbers that showcase the range of the dancers' talents, and is sure to be a delight for the audience. The repertoire includes "Diana and Actaeon", "Spectre de la Rose", "Kulintangan", "Mayon", "Here Comes the Navy", "Townspeople Ballabile", and excerpt from the ballet "Sylvia". (FREEMAN)
