CEBU, Philippines — As it intends to help its member companies to keep pace and compete globally with the evolving trends in the industry, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) aims to continuously raise the bar high by organizing various events.

CCCI joins China International Import Expo 2018

With 44 official delegates coming from the business sector, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry joined in the recently concluded China International Import Expo 2018 held last November 5-10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China.

Organized as a major international event that shows China’s firm support to trade liberalization and actively open the Chinese market to the world, the CIIE was the only trade show in China which featured foreign exhibitors, and no Chinese companies on the exhibit floor.

During the event, the delegates had a successful meeting with the Hangzhou General Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Also, they attended the Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan Shanghai edition at the Oishi Manufacturing Compound.

The CIIE focused mainly on importation of goods and services to China.

The section of trade in goods covered six exhibitions areas -- High-end Intelligent Equipment; Consumer Electronics and Appliances; Automobile; Apparel, Accessories and Consumer Goods; Food and Agricultural Products and Medical Equipment and Medical Care Products.

The section of trade in services covered the Tourism Services, Emerging Technologies, Culture and Education, Creative Design and Service Outsourcing.
