East Zone concessionaire Manila Water Co. and the city government of Manila have teamed up for a tree-planting activity and a drive to clean up the city’s esteros in combined efforts to promote environmental protection under the former’s Toka Toka Environmental Movement. Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim with city engineer Armando Andres and barangay chairman Aldrin Lopez led the planting of some 300 trees along the bank of the Perlita Creek, Osmeña Highway.
