                    [Summary] => KUALA LUMPUR – Skater Leo Castañeda made up for a forgettable climb by Kristian Guerrero in bouldering finals as he barged into the championship round of the park event with a ninth place finish in the elims in the Asian X Games Qualifier at the Persiaran KLCC grounds Saturday here.


The 20-year-old Castañeda’s 75 points in the first of two 60-second runs netted him a trip to the finals of this event where skaters are judged on their aggressiveness, originality, maneuverings and variety of tricks while using the course, ramps, boxes and handrails.

                    [Summary] => ESPN’s X Games, Asia’s most prestigious action sports competition, makes its Manila debut starting tomorrow when the Asian XTour Manila fires off at the Goldcrest Parking Center at the Glorietta Mall in Makati.


Open to all Filipino action sports athletes and enthusiasts, the two-day event features competitions in skateboarding, bicycle stunt and aggressive in-line skating with the winners in two divisions (Junior X and Main X) gaining berths in the Asian X Games Qualifier IV presented by Toyota and slated in January 2002 in Malaysia.
