The Department of Tourism said 21 accommodation establishments in the National Capital Region and Calabarzon have been repurposed into isolation and quarantine facilities.

The Department of Health on said there is no need to stop community pantries, which are also good for physical and mental wellness, but guidance from local government units to ensure safety protocols is encouraged.

The department will issue guidelines to include additional precautions to be taken when administering the jab.

The first $250 million came from a stocks rights offer last March. Another $250 million were raised from private investors.

"We reject the argument that asserting our sovereignty, protecting our fisherfolk and managing and protecting our own natural resources constitutes a declaration of war," the Professors for Peace said in a statement.
