(MCCI) has declared Mandaluyong as the "Shopping Capital of the Philippines" being home to the biggest names in malling and commercial business including SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza Crossings Department Store, Robinson’s Starmall, Puregold and EDSA Central’s Mayflower.
