According to the boys, aged 14 and 15, they were arrested by five men wearing civilian clothes claiming to be policemen for smoking marijuana inside a vacant lot in Intramuros.
The students, who are graduating this March, requested that their names be withheld for the meantime to protect their privacy.

Four vendors of the illegal meat were also arrested.
Operatives of the Special Reaction Unit (SRU) of the Sta. Cruz police station made a surprise inspection of Quinta Market following reports of unabated selling of dog meat, which were usually done at night to avoid arrest.
Police said the meat, which reportedly came from Bulacan, was being sold at P170 per kilo.
