CPPO director S/Supt. Vicente Loot yesterday said that SPO1 Victor Agang has been relieved and assigned to the Security and Service Group of the CPPO and is under investigation.
Earlier Loot said that Agang faces dismissal from the police service if the accusations will be proven true.

[Summary] => A rattan worker was arrested after he detonated a grenade in sitio Tabla, barangay Sudlon I, the other night.
Yuri Abella, 31, a job-order rattan worker was arrested by SPO1s Graciano Tan and Shan Colubio of the Sudlon detachment.
Although no one was reported hurt or killed during the incident, 12 of Abella's neighbors went to the office of the Security and Service Group to file a complaint against him.
Dionisio Tabura, a tanod of the place, said they were all shaken by the blast and that Abella often made trouble whenever he was drunk.

Cebu City Police Office director Melvin Gayotin yesterday ordered the relief of PO2 Dennis Labra and had him transferred to the Security and Service Group pending an investigation.
Labra was accused of taking money from a house which was not the subject of the raid last Monday evening when the CIIB police raided the house of known drug pushers in barangay Ermita .

[Summary] => Acting city police director Melvin Gayotin yesterday denied rumors that there is an order for the members of the city police to contribute P1,000 each as financial assistance to suspended policemen Adonis Dumpit.
Gayotin laughed off the rumors saying it cannot be possible because if that were the case Dumpit would instantly become a millionaire as there are close to 1,000 policemen in the city.
But he admitted there is a memorandum asking for voluntary contributions as financial assistance to Dumpit.
