While working out at the “gym,” I picked up a story about how some high school and college athletes, particularly basketball players are being preyed upon by “Sponsors.” Unfortunately the “sponsors” in this case are not companies selling products or schools footing the scholarships of the athletes.

Malonzo was prevented from entering the session hall by supporters of his father’s political rival and incumbent Caloocan Mayor Recom Echiverri.

In a statement, the young Malonzo said he would just let the incident pass. He assured the public that his supporters would not retaliate.
