CLARK FIELD, Pampanga — At least 375 corporations and other business establishments at the Clark special economic zone were given assurances yesterday of the passage of a bill granting them a one-time tax amnesty.

This, after members of the bicameral committee posed no objections last Wednesday to Senate Bill 2259, similar to House Bill 5064, exempting them from paying back taxes as a result of a Supreme Court decision declaring that Clark investors are not entitled to tax perks enjoyed by companies at the Subic Bay Freeport.
