                    [Summary] => Ginatilan town Mayor Dean Michael Singco, in a recent interview on the torching of an ambulance in barangay Guiwanon last week, was quick to say that it is not impossible the incident was politically motivated.


This drew a reaction from Vice Mayor Clarito Dinglasa with whom Singco reportedly had a long-standing political rivalry.


The friction between the two was reportedly intensified with the latest passage of the Annual Budget, which Dinglasa claimed to have been illegally approved.

                    [Summary] => Ginatilan Vice Mayor Clarito Dinglasa yesterday said he is planning to file before the Ombudsman a complaint for usurpation of authority against seven councilors for their allegedly anomalous approval of the town's annual budget last May 9.


Dinglasa said two months ago he lodged at the Provincial Board a complaint for usurpation and abuse of authority against the seven councilors but nothing has come out of it yet so he might raise the case to the Ombudsman instead.
