In a report to Mayor Lito Atienza, Manila City Treasurer Liberty Toledo said internally generated revenues collected from Jan. 3 to Feb. 28 amounted to P1.9 billion, a 24.3 percent increase from last year’s collection P1.55 billion.

"Go after these unscrupulous individuals who have been victimizing business establishments in Manila. I want them caught and charged. Aside from being patently illegal, their activities tend to dampen business activity in the city," the mayor ordered.
