[Summary] => Marawi City — There is no reason for the ongoing peace talks between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to fail, the Malaysian head of the international monitoring team (IMT) said.
"The peace process has no reason to fail unless the people of the Philippines do not want peace," Malaysian Maj. Gen. Mohammad Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, head of the IMT overseeing the government-MILF ceasefire, told thousands of Maranaos during a peace rally at Plaza Cabili here last Thursday.
"It has been done, it can be done," he said.
