                    [Summary] => Super featherweight contender Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao plays a boxer in his latest movie, Lisensyadong Kamao, a role so close to his  heart. This is more than enough motivation for him to give his best as he portrays a larger-than-life role.


The Pacman is all poised to display his boxing prowess to the hilt in the movie about a streetsmart boxer who overcomes a lot of challenges in life.


Not surprisingly, he was very inspired during filmmaking, the kind of inspiration he experienced when he challenged Erik Morales in a bout early this year.

                    [Summary] => In an industry where scripts are often written on foils of cigarette packs, it was such a blessing that the now-defunct Film Development Foundation sponsored a few years ago a scriptwriting contest (spearheaded then by Marichu Maceda). It yielded a lot of gems eventually made into full-length films. Among these were Lav Diaz’s Serafin Geronimo: Kriminal ng Bo. Concepcion (starring Raymond Bagatsing) and Carlos Siguion Reyna’s Kahapon, May Dalawang Bata (with Carlo Aquino and Jennifer Sevilla).
