[Title] => Ecleo case: A trail of unsolved murders!
[Summary] => The evil of shabu, which was exposed when that Shabu Mega Lab was raided in Bo. Omapad, Mandaue City a couple of weeks ago, continues to plague Cebu. Last Friday, Cebu Daily News (CDN) came up with a headline allegedly quoting Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales for saying that the Ouano family owned one of the buildings that were raided as a shabu factory. For saying these things, Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Ouano threatened the DOJ Secretary and CDN with a P100-libel suit unless an apology is made.

[Title] => When a judge defies the Supreme Court...
[Summary] => One of the biggest controversies happening in Cebu today is that highly questionable conviction of Cedrick Devinadera, the self-confessed alleged killer of Alona Bacolod, by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Ildefonso Suerte of Barili. This conviction has a direct bearing on the parricide case filed against Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association (PBMA) supreme head Ruben Ecleo Jr. who is supposedly the principal suspect in the killing. Why Judge Suerte tried this case in his sala knowing fully well that the Ecleo case was being tried in Cebu City escapes me.

[Title] => Cebus message to Didagen: Put up or shut up!
[Summary] => Whats been happening in Congress in the past week
where they still couldnt decide on the rules of engagement regarding the opening or the conduct of the canvass. This is the best reason why I have always believed that there is an immediate need to revamp the entire electoral process or even the entire government. Now you know why many of us want a constitutional change!
