The Cebu City Police Office has considered the Anchor Bank robbery closed after it finally filed a case in court against two men identified to be behind the heist. 


Theft and Robbery Section chief Alexis Relado said the case was only filed yesterday because the Anchor Bank employees were reluctant at first to cooperate with the police since they fear that the suspects might get back at them.

This developed as authorities have now identified the two suspects after the bank employees identified them through the police gallery.


Acting Cebu City Police Office director Patrocinio Comendador yesterday said they are now conducting a manhunt operation against Doroteo Imperial and Roldan Villanueva, alias Jimrick Cardosa, after the bank employees identified them as the ones who staged the robbery.
