Yesterday, even without any Guinness representatives to record the feat, the city served another giant tossed salad, outdoing its two previous annual servings.

The feat’s proponent, the Baguio Association of Hotels and Inns (BAHAI), did not mind having no Guinness executives around, saying it would be too expensive to invite them to the festival.

Even the "Biggest Carrot Cake Fest" of Benguet province in November was affected and they are having second thoughts on staging the fest during their foundation day on Nov. 23.
