Sa sinumpaang testimonya ni Ruiz, sinabi nito na mula noong Pebrero 2001 ay hindi na siya pinayagang makalabas pa sa tirahan ng mga Jackson matapos na itago ang kanyang pasaporte at ibang travel documents.
