                    [Summary] => ZAMBOANGA CITY — Five people, including two minors, were injured when one of them tinkered with an M79 grenade that fell from a motorcycle in Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte last Sunday, the police said.


The injured were identified as Gilmer Berner, who is in serious condition; Enerio Pacturan, Rogelio Ambulong Jr., and minors Jun Rey Carvajal, 9, and Sheila Mae Mandi, 10. 


The police said Berner reportedly picked up the ammunition when it fell from a passing motorcycle, and using a bolo, tinkered with it, triggering the explosion. — Roel Pareño
