Veteran Rommel Adducul could be directly affected in the controversial three-team trade in the works in the pro league since he could be released by Barangay Ginebra in the aftermath of the deal. 


There were reports that the 6-foot-5 Adducul was disappointed over the Kings’ failure to renew his multi-million, four-year contract that expires this December.


"His contract was supposed to be renewed last conference, but Barangay Ginebra didn’t make a move because he was injured at the time," said a STAR source.
