[Title] => Popcom is promoting non-scalpel vasectomy
[Summary] =>
The Commission on Population is now pushing for a low-risk, safe and simple procedure that has more advantages over the conventional vasectomy process.
"We will be pushing for non-scalpel vasectomy, a safe, less costly and more convenient family planning method for married couples," Popcom regional director Leo Rama said at a press conference during the Family Planning Month Celebration.
Non-scalpel vasectomy is a male sterilization process that requires no incision, no stitches, less bleeding, less discomfort, and faster recovery, among others, Rama said.
