"Gusto ko na pong bumalik sa trabaho at makatulong sa aking mga kasamahan sa pamatay sunog (I want to return to work and help my colleagues to kill blazes)," Francisco told The STAR in an interview.

The water service interruption is due to the installation of a 500-mm butterfly valve on the existing mainline along Teodora San Luis (Fraternidad) near the Shell depot in Pandacan, Manila.
Areas that will have no water for 12 hours, include those bounded by Mendiola Extension, Nagtahan Extension, PNR tracks, Pasig River and Jesus street in Pandacan.

[Summary] => Interior and Local Government Secretary Angelo Reyes conferred yesterday the Medalya ng Kabayanihan (Medal of Heroism) to one of three Parañaque City firemen who displayed "acts of conspicuous courage and gallantry" in trying to rescue the occupants of a burning house last May 27.
Reyes bestowed the medal to SFO4 Enrique Francisco at the Philippine Orthopedic Hospital where the fireman is being treated for injuries to the spinal column.
Francisco was also promoted to Inspector.

[Summary] => A housemaid and a helper were killed while three firemen were hurt when fire gutted a two-story house before dawn yesterday in Parañaque City.
The charred bodies of Wilma Castaneda, 25, and Medy Badanguivi, 22, were found at the second floor of the house, owned by Olivia Batara, at the Equity Homes subdivision in Barangay San Antonio.
As the responding firefighters were about to pull out the dead bodies, the floor collapsed, sending them crashing to the ground floor.
Three firefighters sustained injuries in various parts of the body.
