[Title] => 2006 Talisay budget reaches P249 million
[Summary] => Next year's proposed budget for Talisay City is slightly bigger compared to the budget for this year.
This after Mayor Socrates Fernandez submitted to the City Council for approval the 2006 budget of P249.159 million, which has an increase of only P24,035,460.06 from this year's budget of P225,124,155.38.
In a six-page summary, the biggest chunk of the 2006 budget goes to the General Services with P30,556,244. Salaries of the city officials and employees come from the General Services.
