[Summary] => Anti-car theft and intelligence operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested the other night four men shortly after they forcibly took a motorcycle from its owner in front of a restaurant near West Avenue.
In a report to QCPD director Chief Superintendent Nicasio Radovan Jr., Superintendent Roger James Brillantes, District Intelligence and Investigation chief, identified the suspects as Noel Tapang, Raul Guevarra, Manolito de la Cruz and Eduardo de la Cruz. They were arrested on board their get-away vehicle, a blue Toyota Lite Ace with plate number PTU 460.

[Summary] => Northern Police District (NPD) director Chief Superintendent Leopoldo Bataoil ordered a task force to provide security to the family of slain newsman Albert Orsolino after several men were observed casing their house in Malabon City in the last few nights.
"I ordered Task Force Orsolino to strengthen the security for the victim’s family and the witnesses as they reported harassment from the suspects," Bataoil said.
He also ordered an intensified manhunt operation against the gunman and his cohorts as police expedited the issuance of warrants of arrest.

A National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) official was killed in an
ambush staged by three unidentified armed men early morning yesterday in
Malabon.
