Chief Superintendent Nicolas Pasinos Jr., Central Mindanao (Region 10) police director, said 16-year-old Abdul Baunto, a student of the Beta Christi School, was rescued at about 7:20 a.m. from a shanty in Sitio San Dionisio in Barangay Indulag, Takalag town.

Two suspects were arrested during the rescue operation. They were identified as Ronel Hundayag, 24, a college sophomore; and Jonathan Bermudez, 18.
