The new chief of the Theft and Robbery Section, Sr. Inspector Alexis Relado will recommend for an investigation to be conducted against his men who reportedly lost a theft suspect inside the Palace of Justice last Monday.


The suspect, Teodoro Paray, was arrested by the group of SPO4 Alejandro Lopez last November 2 after he and his live-in partner Marycris Buenavista were suspected behind the theft of a cellular phone accessories store in Sanciangko Street owned by Sozimo Malata of Batangas City.

                    [Summary] => Authorities yesterday took into custody three more men who were allegedly indirect participants  in the robbery of a fish dealer-couple, Francisco Gracia Jr and wife Bernadeth, in barangay Pasil Friday morning.


Chief Inspector Ambrosio Ibones, chief of the City Police theft and robbery section, identified the three as Julius Damgo, 25, of Inuburan, Naga town ; Ricky Prete, 29, a temporary resident of San Fernando town; and Magdalino Tulin, a cabbie.


The three underwent interrogation yesterday although the police did not issue complete details about their "arrest."

                    [Summary] => An armed man single-handedly robbed a courier business outlet inside a commercial complex along Pelaez Street yesterday afternoon and made off with P28,000. 


Leah Toroteo, customer service representative of the establishment, told responding policemen that the man went inside at about 5pm and tied something at the door before approaching her counter. 


She greeted him saying "good afternoon, sir", but the man replied instead, "This is a hold-up," while pointing his gun to her.
