Rosemarie Sonora was launched to stardom in 1966 along with nine other newcomers. They were Gina Pareño, Loretta Marquez, Blanca Gomez, Shirley Moreno, Dindo Fernando, Bert Leroy Jr., Edgar Salcedo, and others Ramil and Pepito Rodriguez. They were called, well, Stars '66.
