                    [Summary] => BACOLOD CITY — The bishop emeritus of Romblon succumbed to multiple organ failure at the Riverside Medical Center here on Saturday.


Msgr. Vicente Garrucho Salgado, 68, a native of Bacolod, is now lying in state at the Sacred Heart Seminary and will be buried at the crypt of the San Sebastian Cathedral on Friday after  a 9 a.m. Mass.


Salgado’s death certificate stated that he died  from multiple organ failure caused by end stage liver disease with malignant degeneration  and acute renal failure.
