Solicitor General Antonio Eduardo Nachura topped the list of five candidates for the lone vacancy for Supreme Court (SC) associate justice submitted yesterday by the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) to President Arroyo.


Aside from Nachura, the other nominees are Court of Appeals Presiding Justice Ruben Reyes, Sandiganbayan Presiding  Justice Teresita Leonardo de Castro and CA Associate Justices Roberto Barrios and Portia Alino-Hormachuelos.
