                    [Summary] => Australian qualifier Robert Smeets endured cramps in the third set to win the boys’ singles title over No. 3 American Chris Kwon, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, yesterday in the 13th Mitsubishi Lancer International Junior Championships at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.


Smeets, who is ranked No. 438 in the world, was ahead, 3-1, in the third frame when he was slowed down by cramps in the left leg.  This gave the world No. 42 Kwon the opportunity to take the next two games at 4-3.
