ALIBIS, ALIBIS. At least two Ear readers said they were saddened by the poor showing of the SMC-Pilipinas quintet in Qatar where they lost all their games. But they were disgusted - "more than saddened" - by the alibis thrown left and right by the team's coach. "For every defeat, an alibi," said one of the readers. "Dawaton na lang gud nato nga lupig gyud ta, period," said the other reader (a business exec). The two said, "it's bad behavior for a coach to always issue an alibi for every defeat."
